Ashes to Ashes - Monday's BBC1 (Series 1)
Episode 1 - I loved this episode as it had a little bit of msytery behind it as from the beginning they was Alex Drake but as Life on Mars fan , I knew what was coming. Through the episode Alex Drake was in 2008 and then suddenly she was shot and she ended up in 1983. I thought the first episode was really well though out and it just works. 5/5
Episode 2 - I loved this episode also as it was the opening and full details of when Alex Drake went back into the eighties and starts to reliease where she is. During the episode Alex meets Gene Hunt and his team which was very interesting to watch , as I had seen Gene Hunt in Life on Mars meeting Sam Tyler and it was interesting to see how Gene would react with Alex but of course he was usual blunt self , saying lines like "I come around your house and stamp on all your toys" I thought this episode was very interesting to watch and couldn't wait untill the next episode was on. 5/5
Episode 3 - I also liked this episode too , specially the intresting digloue between Ray Carling and Gene through-out the episode and of course the other team members including Alex Drake. 5/5
Episode 4 - Another great episode from Ashes to Ashes , specially when Alex Drake goes into her youngerselve's bedroom and see's her stuff from when she was young as this connects Alex to that year. Also the conspiracy storyline which was of course expanded in Series 2 was really interesting to see as it give another layer to the show. This was another great episode of Ashes to Ashes. 5/5
Episode 5 - I really liked this episode as well as it had the tem again together which just seems to work , not too over the top and not too underwritten into the show. I always like this type of show , the old fashion shows and ones that protray the old fashion stuff. 5/5
Episode 6 - A great episode featuring the team. I found it interesting through-out the episode and the series little hints about Alex's condition in 2008 , about her thinking her tempature is dropping and other cool hints about her condition. Also Alex was starting to listen to Gene and coming around to his instincts when solving the cases in each episode and continuing cases in the show too. 5/5
Episode 7 - I am loving this episode as it had a shock twist by killing off a main character which was Shaz which made the episode really interesting to watch but they the show makers did decide to bring Shaz back to life by using Alex to do it. This was a brilliant twist but she didn't stay which was great as she comes back in Series 2. 5/5
Episode 8 - The ending to the first episode was very good indeed , from the tie-up of Alex's Dad and Mum dieing and we got to see the full scenes finally after all the hints in the past episodes leading up to to the final episode in the Series and also the shock twist of who the clown was during the other episodes , which turned up to be Alex Drake's Dad which left me opened mouth so Series 1 ended on a high for me and I was wanting to see what Series 2 was going to have in store for me. 5/5

Episode 8 - The last episode of Ashes to Ashes was just brilliant , ending on a great bit from Gene Hunt (which I won't spoil as i don't want to ruin it for you). Through-out the final episode was just great with the mysterious Summers who seems to know alot about Alex Drake. I specially liked WPC Sharon Granger (Montserrat Lombard) holding a gun in a wedding dress! The other bit i liked is when Alex was trying to explain that she is actually alive in 2008 but Gene Hunt can't understand this. All the way through the series it hasn't faulted on acting for me and they is some good news , they will be a third series in 2010 but they is something about Gene... 5/5
Ashes to Ashes will be returning for a third Series in 2010. More details
