Hustle - Thursday's BBC1
Episode 1 - This was a great start to a brilliant show after being away for a while. It was a great way how Albert was introducing the two new con artists to the gang by pretending that Micky Stone was conning them and that the two new members were actually conning Micky and it also great that Eddie's bar was re-open with part of the money that was used in the con to re-decorate the Bar. Great work for the first episode. I can't wait for the second one. 5/5
Episode 2 - This was another great episode from Hustle. I liked the set-up that the two guys were nicking the other ideas and making them they own and taking all the profits so when Micky and the Gang turned up they were going to be in for a great shock. I loved the slow motion bit when the guy is throwing the water over the other guy and it is done really really slowly. They was one person missing from this episode and that was Albert which did make him feel not needed as the other characters had filled the roles nicely but no doubt we will see him in Episode 3. 5/5
Episode 3 - This was another great episode. It was brilliant the way the team actually did 4 cons in total in the episode! The first con was to con one of the people on the parole board making them belive that someone who hide the gold that they got on a robbery was still alive when they are actually dead and get him to give them £100,000 in order to get the bogus infomation from them. The Second con was to find someone in a casino and tell them that they cam make lots of money using a mobiel device specially for working out where the ball would land on the wheel and then one of the con team would pretend to be a secruity guard at the casino but actaully a con man and send him out side to tell him off and they wouldn't press charges if the cheating guy follows instructions in a envelope that they give to him. The third con was done by Albert in the cell to con the unconable govanor of the prision. What was so brilliant about the first three cons is that the people the con team were conning were on the prision baord that Albert was in so in the end the three members of the board decided to let him go due to the cons that were happening to them early on in the day. The 4th con was done to the new guy that joined the Hustle team in which Ash was playing three card monte wth him and when the new guy got it right the first time Ash said "Thats never happen before" but actually Ash was conning him because later on when the new guy put down the money he got from the con he knew they knew that he conned ash early and they were setting him up. Great episode and what a brilliant idea to do 4 cons in th episode it worked smoothly. 5/5
Episode 4 - This was a interesting episode about a collector who likes solving puzzles so when Mick Bricks and the team planned to con him , it was a challenge and a half. I really like the episode as it centred around a diamond that the collector only had a replica of the real diamond. So when Micky Bricks conned him , he did it in such a way that the collector would never bother checking the diamond as Micky knew he was more interested in the story behind the diamond then the actualy diamond. Great episode and I can't wait for next week's episode. 5/5
Episode 5 - I have to say this week's episode of Hustle has gone down in Quailty but not by much so I am sure the next episode is goig to even better and on top form like previous episodes have been. This time the con artists was conning this MP who is able to D-list (I am not sure actually what this means) propertys from the land so that the developer can access the land's full potional but the clever part is that she doesn't get involved in the deal but uses a go between who collects the rewards and then she can make a profit on the deal , so the con artists Micky Bricks and everyone cons the MP so they can save a community centre using some clever moves making the MP think that she is in control of the deal. The only thing I didn't like about this episode is that they is a relation-ship developing between Micky and Emma during the episodes and her brother is starting to get jealous but I am going to reserve full judgement on this idea as I havn't seen much of this play out yet. Overall the episode rated a 4/5
Episode 6 - What a great ending to a excellent show. It was about a previous victim that was going to con the Micky and the gang and get his money back. He was joined by former victims (if you want to call it that) in order to pull off one of the best cons of the series. They had been planning the how to con Micky and the gang for months and they were some cool twists in the episode but I won't spoil the ending for you.
